A Note for Students

Dear Students:

You’re probably wondering what is manufacturing? Manufacturing is more than making cars or planes and other things. It is a huge industry that is limitless with exciting career opportunities. There are all types of careers available in manufacturing including CEO, Plant Manager, Engineer, Tool Maker, and Welder etc.

Today’s manufacturing is a far cry from many years ago. Technology and science are creating exciting products never imagined during the days of Henry Ford. In the next ten years, hydrogen fuel cells will change today’s motor engine and traditional gas stations will be replaced with hydrogen stations. Manufacturing is going to change the infrastructure of the automotive industry.

Because technology is advancing so rapidly, it is important that the manufacturing industry stay ahead of the game by hiring exceptional talent. Take a look at some of the opportunities available nationally and locally. The world of manufacturing is open to you…
